35 weeks...

Well here I am at 35 weeks!
We have made it. Everyday after yesterday is just a bonus day for the boys.
We saw the doctor today who has decided that next Thursday she will "check" me and if I am dialated to a 3-4 we will go ahead with the c-section then. If I am not then we will have a scheduled c-section on Weds November 5th.
So I am thinking it will be next week because I thought the last time I was checked I was a 3.
So here we are in the home stretch...less than 13 days to our boys!

To do list...

Today was my last official day of bedrest. I tried so hard to remain laying around today, but I was overcome with the NEED to reorganize AJ's closet.

So I did.

And it looks amazing, along with her newly arranged room. Thank you for that Aaron!

So after that I did take a wonderful nap and then continued to count the lines on the ceiling.
When that wasn't fun anymore I thought of all the things I want to do tomorrow.

So here it is:

1. Take JP to school

2. Swing past the ole Giftshop and make sure she is still standing :)

3. Make a return at Childrens Place

4. Buy AJ some black Mary JAN'S (yes I know they are Mary JANE's, but she calls them Mary JAN's and I LOVE IT!)

5. Eat at Backyard Burger. PLEASE SOMEONE JOIN ME FOR LUNCH!

6. If it is not raining, take AJ to the park.

7. Pick JP up from school.

8. Unpack JP's winter sweaters and put them in his closet.

9. Lay out warmer clothes for JP for the next week.

10. Maybe go out to dinner to celebrate JP's all A's

I am sure I will think of more fun and entertaining things as well.

Oh and an update on the boys...they both grew 2 pounds in the last 4 weeks. They are officially huge! And they are doing an excellent job of practicing breathing. Dr's say they look fabulous. Now we just have to wait and see when they want their birthday to be. I am hoping they would love to be October 23rd babies, but we'll see.

34 weeks...

6 days and counting....
after 6 days I can get off my bedrest . So Wednesday next week, you can bet on seeing me at Target. Perhaps even playing a little soccer with JP. Oh and if anyone would like to join me for lunch at Backyard Burger, I will be enjoying the German Dog with plenty of sauerkrat. MMMM...good.
If for some reason I have not delivered by next Thursday then Dr. will schedule my C-Section for November 5th. I am REALLY hoping to have delivered before November 5th.
Please pray for healthy babies and a smooth delivery preferably before Halloween. :)

Out of the mouths of babes...

You know your 4 year old has been to too many OB appointments when....

Me: I can't sit, I can't lay, I just can't get comfortable.

AJ: Whell, if you just go to the hospital and take the babies out then you won't have anymore CONTRACTIONS.

Aaron and I nearly dropped our spoons and looked at each other as all three of us started laughing. AJ pays too much attention, I do believe!

Friday Five...

Five wonderful things about my husband....

1. He cleans the kitchen...every night.

2. The way he plays with our kids after a long day of work.

3. His wonderful helpfullness since I have been put on resting duties.

4. He grocery shops...without complaint.

5. He gives me a backrub every night, even when he is down right exhausted.

I am so thankful to have such an amazing husband. Not only is he just a dream husband, but he is the Dad every kid would want to have. He plays, he cleans, he cooks, he shops, he serves, he coaches, he teaches, he works, he learns, he laughs, he loves....he is ours and we are so blessed.

Thank Aaron so much for everything you have taken on as we get closer to the arrival of our two sweet babies. You are truly an amazing Dad and Husband. I love you...
