Preschool Graduation...

It seems like just yesterday that I dropped AJ off at preschool for the first day of her final year.

And now here we are at the end.

I always think I am prepared for it, until they say 'I present to you the class of 2023.'

Just be still time.

I have enjoyed the extra year with AJ. She has been such a blessing to me and her twin brothers. She is so helpful and fun for those boys. All three of us will miss her immensely this fall when we drop her off at kindergarten.

The life of a 3rd and 4th baby...

With 2 older kids who are also quite active, the babies have no choice but to be on the go a lot!

They spend a lot of time riding around in the car, thankfully they have no complaints about car rides.

The other large chunk of time is spent in their stroller at various sporting events. Many times they want out to explore, but I try to arrange snack times for during stroller time. They are content to be in the stroller if they are eating, if the stroller is moving, or if they are just so tired.

Recently at a soccer game we didn't even realize Little Guy had started to doze, we just thought he was content up there. Then we saw his head bobbing. Pretty soon he bobbed forward enough that his head just rested on the front tray.

So cute!

Locks of Love...

AJ has always enjoyed having LONG princess hair. She has never been a fan of what she calls a 'shortcut'.

Many months ago AJ decided it would be nice to donate her hair to kids who don't have any hair.

Recently I noticed how long her hair had gotten and how unmanageable it had also gotten, so I mentioned that maybe it was time to get it cut.

She still wanted to give her hair to other kids, but had some definite concerns about whether she would still look cute. She absolutely did not want to look like a boy.

After a little advice from our stylist, she was ready to take the plunge.

Check it out:

All styled!

It is just the cutest little cut on her, I am not sure why we hadn't done it sooner! I love it. She does look older, but she is like my own little life size American Girl Doll!

Play Ball...

The other night we enjoyed a perfect spring evening at the baseball field.

Not just any baseball field, but an awesome ball field tucked behind a quaint log church. It was a rare opportunity to watch a game without having to look through a fence.

Little kids played behind the parents on the playground and moms and dads lined the side of the field with folding chairs.

I snapped two of my favorite photos that night.

The first one is neat because the 3 blond boys in the foreground are the brothers of the batter at the plate in the background. When I saw all 3 boys watching their brother, I couldn't resist taking that shot.

The next one is a sweet boy, very dear to our family. So dear in fact it was just recently that JP realized that R is in fact NOT his cousin. Ha! R has an incredible personality and it really shows in this picture as he crosses home plate with total excitement.

In just a few short days my babies will be 1 1/2!

The boys are changing daily. Their language is exploding. Their personalities blossoming.

They are definitely two entirely different little boys.

Big Guy has been hamming it up lately, which is not normal for him. We went to a restaurant the other night and he started doing the cutest little shoulder shrug and smile, followed by a giggle.

Take a look.
