Tonight we tried this awesome recipe.

It was tasty, easy, and full of flavor!

1 pkg Egg Roll Wrappers
1 pound ground beef/turkey
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pkg (10oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1/2 tsp italian herb seasoning
1 cup shredded cheese (i used colby jack)
1 15oz can tomato sauce
1/2 cup of dry red or white wine (i used cooking sherry)
1/2 tsp italian herb seasoning
Brown beef with onion and garlic in a skillet. Discard excess water/fat. Add spinach and italian seasoning, mix well. Let mixture cool. Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl. Pour half of the sauce into a 9x13 baking pan. For each canneloni, spoon 1/3 cup meat mixture at one end of the wrap, roll wrapper around filling, and place the seam side down in pan. Pou remaining sauce over top, be sure to coat all the ends of the wraps. cover and bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with the cheese (i used more than 1 cup) return to oven and bake 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.
