French Loaf...

One of my favorite recipes is The French Loaf.

I grew up eating this easy and tasty meal.

1 Bakery French Loaf
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 can tomato soup
1 pound browned ground hamburger/ turkey

Cut a piece of tinfoil long enough to warp around the loaf. Slice loaf lengthwise with the top being smaller. Scoop out bread pieces from bottom to create a 'boat'. Reserve bread pieces.

Simmer both soups, meat, and 1/2 to 3/4 of torn up bread pieces. Once combined and warm, spoon mixture into the 'boat'. Top with the bread top and wrap in tin foil.

Cook at 350 for about 10-15 minutes depending on desired crunchiness. My husband does not prefer much crunch.

Slice and serve. This is a HUGE favorite in our house. Enjoy.
