Christmas Holly Snack Mix...

This recipe is my all time favorite snack mix. It is the perfect mix of sweet and crunchy. It also makes a fabulous gift for neighbors, teachers, and coworkers. Just place a generous amount into a clear celephane bag and tie with a sparkly bow with a cute tag.

Christmas Holly Snack Mix

1 box Kix cereal
1 box Frosted Flakes cereal
1 bag of popped popcorn, cooled
1 bag of wilton red melting chocolates
1 bag of wilton green melting chocolates
1 bag of wilton white melting chocolates

Melt chocolate according to package and or microwave settings. I have a melt chocolate button which is AWESOME! Melt the red and then mix in about 3/4 of the box until all kix are coated red. Spread onto wax paper in single layer to dry. Melt green chocolate and mix in about 1/2 of the box of frosted flakes until coated. Spread on wax paper in single layer till dry. Melt white chocolate and mix whole bag of popcorn till coated. Soread on wax paper in single layer till dry.
Break dried pieces into small chunks and mix evenly in glass bowl. Or fill goody bags.

Enjoy!

*If you want the mix to make a lot and look more proportionate to true snow, holly, and berries use the following measurements:

3 bags white melting chocolate (or almond bark) 3 bags of WHITE unbuttered popcorn
2 bags of green melting chocolate to one box of frosted flakes or corn flakes
1 bag of red melting chocolate to about 1/2 to 2/3 of box of kix cereal.
